My name is Doug, and I am the founder and owner of BigFootTinyHouse. I realized that building simple homes and sheds at reasonable prices would give other people a chance to afford home and storage solutions. As my mother always said to me growing up, "less is more" and "live a simple life".

My company, BigFootTinyHouse, is a new business I launched in the summer of 2023. My passion and mission are to build simple homes and sheds at great prices with excellent quality and craftsmanship. Working with the Amish people in Upstate New York as my neighbors, I have built relationships to create tiny homes, cabins, sheds, and more.

Inspired by my journey from homelessness to entrepreneurship, we craft high-quality, affordable homes and sheds that embody simplicity and sustainability.
